The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) has launched two sport competitions for its employees on the occasion of the National Sports Day, which has been held this year under the slogan "The Choice is Yours".
The organization of these two competitions in PSA aimed at encouraging employees to think of the National Sports Day as a starting point towards a healthy lifestyle that embraces sports and activity.
PSA is keen to enhance the role of sport in the life of every individual in the Qatari society, based on the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030 and its goal towards a physically and mentally healthy population in a society that adopts a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
It is worth mentioning that PSA celebrates Qatar National Sports Day annually, based on the Emiri Decree No. 80 of 2011 that designates the second Tuesday of February each year as a national sport day for the State.
