On the occasion of the World Day Against Child Labor on June 12, 2013, Statistics Authority launched a press release where the statistical data show that there is no child (below 15 years) labor in Qatar during the recent years   The employment rate for the age group (15-17) amount to 0.1% of the total labor force in 2012. The statistical data also indicates that this rate is stable over the years of labor force sample survey from 2006 to 2012.  In addition, the data point out that the rate of the age group (25-34) constitutes 40% of the total workforce.
