The National Data Affairs Department of the National Planning Council (NPC) organized a specialized training workshop for NPC employees, aimed at raising internal awareness about the National Data Program and enhancing the capabilities in implementing the National Data Management Guideline.
The workshop brought together representatives from various NPC departments, and focused on several key areas aimed at enabling participants to understand the national data governance framework and apply it effectively within their respective work fields.
The workshop included a comprehensive introduction to national data regulations and their strategic goals, highlighting the complementary relationship between the three components of data regulations: policies, standards, and the guideline. In addition, it explained the role of the guideline in supporting the implementation of these policies and standards on the ground.
The workshop also included a detailed explanation of the main areas within the national data governance and management framework, as well as reviewing the models and frameworks for each area, which contributes to enhancing institutional efficiency and achieving optimal data use.
This workshop is part of a broader series of training initiatives led by the National Data Affairs Department to advance data governance and promote best practices in data management.
