On the occasion of the World Day Against Child Labor observed on June 12 every year, the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics released a press release indicating the absence of child labor (under 16 years) in Qatar. There are no reasons for families in Qatar to employ their children to do jobs that can be heavy burdens for them, and menace their safety, health and welfare. The statistics show also that labor force in the 25-34 age group constitute around 42% of the total labor force.
