The Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics has released the 30th  edition of (Qatar; Monthly Statistics) which is released on a monthly basis to highlight detailed statistics on State of Qatar recorded during the period June 2016 in addition to glance from 2015 census.
The most-highlighted statistical variable in this edition is the total visitor arrivals in Abu Samra Border which reached 523,160 thousands the period  January to June  2016, while it recorded 615,856  visitors during same period 2015.
The demographic statistics within bulletin shows that Qatar’s population has reached 2,477 million in June 2016, an annual increase of 5.65% as the population attained 2,345 million in June 2015, with total of 2,172  births during  June 2016 and total of 184 deaths during the same period.
Traffic violations accounted for 110,606 in June 2016, with a negative monthly change amounting to 22.23%  compared to last May.

The bulletin also highlights the number of vehicles registered  in June 2016 which recorded 6,868 compared to 7,536 during May 2016, with a monthly decrease amounting to 8.86%.
Total broad money supply (M2) recorded about 494 Billion Riyals during the month of June 2016 showing a monthly decrease of 0.71% compared to May 2016. On the other hand, cash equivalents; includes deposits  increased by 0.16 % during June 2016 in comparison with May 2016, as it recorded about 684 Billion Riyals during June 2016. In contrast, Total broad money supply (M2) recorded a negative year-on-year change of 7.18%, while cash equivalents; includes deposits, recorded a positive year-on-year change of 6.20%.
