On Wednesday, 22 October 2025, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the National Planning Council (NPC), delivered a lecture titled “Qatar National Vision 2030" to students of the National Defense College at Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies.

During the lecture, His Excellency underscored Qatar's ongoing journey toward comprehensive and sustainable development, guided by the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy (2024–2030). He elaborated on the pivotal role of the National Planning Council in shaping national plans, supporting implementation, and enabling informed decision-making, performance monitoring, and strategic foresight. He also highlighted the Council's efforts to advance national statistical strategies and align statistical processes with the country's overarching development goals.

The lecture concluded with an engaging discussion, during which students shared their views, posed questions, and expressed their aspirations for Qatar's future.​​
