HE Dr. Saleh M. Al-Nabit, President of the Planning and Statistics Authority, met with Mr. Stephen Yee, President of the Middle East and Africa for Huawei.
This meeting coincides with Mr. Yee's visit to the State of Qatar to attend the International Event for Homeland Security and Civil Defence (Milipol Qatar 2022).
Representing the Planning and Statistics Authority, the meeting were Mr. Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, Assistant to the President of the Planning and Statistics Authority, and Dr. Khaled Al-Qurra Daghi, Director of Information Systems Department and Advisor to the President's Office.
The Huawei delegation included Mr. Liam Zhaoliang, President of Huawei Gulf North Region, and Mr. Safder Nazir, Senior Regional Vice President, Digital Industries in the Middle East.
During the meeting, they talked about Qatar's national development strategy and digital transformation, and the latest technology solutions in the area of cloud services and AI.
The meeting concluded with the exchange of two souvenirs by HE Dr. Saleh Al-Nabit and Mr. Stephen Yee.
