The Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS) is pleased to present the final findings of the General Simplified census of Population, Housing and Establishment 2015. The Census is largest and most important statistical work. Census covers all community elements and presents updated data, information and indicators of interest to planners, researchers, and decision makers and policy makers to develop various developmental programs that serve the nation, citizens, and all society members.A successful implementation of the census requires well-thought planning for all stages. To fulfill this goal and out of the desire of both of the MDPS and the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning to keep up with the latest technological developments, tablets were used in the first field phase and then needed data was derived and completed from official documented sources. On this occasion, I would like to thank all families for their commendable cooperation in providing us with the correct data that helped make the census a success.
