Responsibilities & Functions

1. Conduct studies analyzing the effectiveness of policy implementation outcomes based on performance data and indicators for strategic and implementation plans, and propose appropriate recommendations in coordination with relevant administrative units and stakeholders.
2. Develop simulation models to analyze the short- and long-term impacts of proposed policies on national visions and plans, in coordination with relevant administrative units and entities.
3. Prepare studies and initiatives to test innovative policies that address and accommodate future visions and developments.
4. Develop policies and frameworks for identifying best practices and effective policies aligned with future plans, in coordination with relevant administrative units and stakeholders.
5. Support government entities in testing proposed policies, and assess their suitability and readiness to keep pace with developments related to strategic plans and alignment with the national vision.
6. Review and evaluate policy outcomes after implementation to measure the achievement of intended objectives, and identify strengths and appropriate improvement opportunities.
7. Coordinate and enhance cooperation with research and academic institutions inside and outside the State to leverage research capabilities related to the Lab’s field of work.
