United Nations (Division of Economic and Social Affairs/Population) World Population Prospects: 2017 Revision, Volume 1: with comprehensive tables
World Population Prospects 2017 presents the latest demographic estimates prepared by the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat. It represents the twenty-fifth round of global population estimates and projections produced by the Population Division since 1951.
This part of the 2017 Revision presents comprehensive tables of official United Nations population estimates and projections, together with key demographic indicators for selected dates or periods from 1950 to 2100. It covers the world, groups of countries at similar levels of development, regions, and countries or areas with populations exceeding 90,000 in 2017. For countries or areas with populations below that threshold, the data relate only to population size.
All tables also present projections under the medium, high, low, and constant-fertility variants, together with an executive summary.
